
WHAT IS GRE?
The GRE (Graduate Record Exam) is a standardised exam used to gain admission to various graduate schools or business graduate schools across the world, particularly in the United States. At 700 test centres, about 100,000 graduate school candidates from over 160 countries take the GRE General Test. Those who want to pursue a master's degree, specialised master's course, MS, MBA, MEM, or doctorate degree can take the GRE Test. Aside from the GRE updated general test, there are six GRE topic tests that assess applicants' expertise in their particular fields. ETS administers the GRE exam (Educational Testing Service).

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE GRE TEST:
There are no precise qualifying requirements for taking the GRE Test. Applicants of any age can apply for the testHowever, the candidate has to fulfil the admission criteria for individual institutes where he/she is applying.
GRE Exam PATTERN:
The most popular GRE test format is the computer-based test. However, paper-based GRE tests are accessible at test centres where computer-based GRE tests are not available. The test lasts 3 hours and 40 minutes in total. The test is divided into six portions, with a 10-minute break after the third section
