Study in New Zealand Visa Requirements

  • Academic preparation documents such as transcripts, diplomas, degrees or certificates.
  • Current application form – student visa application form
  • Visa application fee.
  • Tuition fee receipt showing payment to date.
  • Passport-size photographs.

Scholarship/ Bursaries

  • There are very few bursaries offered at undergraduate or postgraduate level for course work studies.
  • Few scholarships are primarily available for research programs.
  • PhD students are required to pay domestic fees which are highly affordable as compared to PhD fees in any other country.

Admissions

INTAKE:
The academic year runs from February to November, with many programs beginning in July. The main holiday season lasts from December until February.

Working part-time while studying

Students are permitted to work 20 hours per week part-time and full-time during holidays while enrolled in the programme.

Opportunities for employment following graduation

After completing his or her studies, the student may apply for PR if he or she receives a permanent work offer (one that meets the visa criterion) in the linked field of study. A student can also stay in New Zealand and look for work on a work pe

English Requirement

IELTS &/or TOEFL are not mandatory requirements however it’s highly recommended for clear and timely processing of admission and visa application. Students cannot go to NZ to study an English course.

The student must have required language capability from India before enrolling in an NZ Institute.

The TOEFL is not accepted by the New Zealand High Commission. Please confirm acceptable test status at the time of making an application.
